Should i go to the ER? Bleeding for 2 weeks, early period, large blood clots

I started  spotting on the 14th, after i had sex with my partner. Which was weird because it came two weeks early, and i usually don't ''spot''. Then the next day I started passing VERY large dark red blood clots and a super heavy flow. I couldn't even get off the toilet there was so much, I was going through 1 or 2 super tampons every hour. So I made a doc appointment on the 22d(week ago) and my doctor got me to do pregnancy test , prescribed me tranexamic acid to stop the blood , and made me an apt for the 27th to see the results for my pregnancy test (which is today, i went there and they were closed for an unexpected reason i guess) My flow went away after i took meds the first day and I started having pink/brown discharge, then the next day it came back light and still going on with a few small clots. What is going on with me? Should i go to the emergency since they cancelled my apt? Am i pregnant?  Its been going on for so long now. My period always comes at the same timeish each month, is usually regular to heavy and lasts for 5 days about so this has never happened before.  Im an 18 year old.
