Snack time is a great time to incorporate more whole foods like fruits and vegetables into your child's diet — few kids (and even adults) eat enough of them! Fruits and vegetables are full of nutrients we need every day. They're filling, too! Like regular meals, snacks should ideally contain a balance of carbohydrates, protein, and fat. That's as simple as pairing a fruit or vegetable with nuts, dairy products or a dip. Here are a few options to get you started.
