Question Title: Constipated and lump in intestineForum: The Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Forum
| ||||
I have a very dear friend who won't see a doctor and I think something is seriously wrong with him. Can you PLEASE help? Here's what I know: he has gurgling noises in his intestine, is in almost constant pain anywhere from mild to severe, he has increased his fiber intake and takes laxatives and stool softners almost on a regular basis, is lucky to have 1-2 bowel movements a week but the most troubling part is he has a lump that seems to be in his intestine on the lower left side that seems to grow and shrink in size. And he has told me that he can manipulate it so it seems to move down his intestine and sometimes that will result in his having a bowel movement and sometimes not but it seems to make the pain alittle better. The only other thing I know is that his cholestrol count is 330 (I think) but I wasn't sure if that would have anything to do with it or not. And diabetis runs in his family. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!! __
