I've taken it for a few weeks for osteoarthritis. It's very strong but works well.
I used for month so about 13 years ago when I had bad flare up of Undifferent Connective Disease work with week of used it swelling when down pain still here but now use different type.
Price I got for free due lived in Britian.
my dr prescribed it for me in a patch, but it cost $150.00 for a months supply, and i just can't afford it. if you have good prescription insurance, you might ask your dr for that.
How do you make it in a cream?
Apparently, there is a gel that is already made up that can be used. It is called Emulgel. I think I may ask about that at the next doc. appt.
Yes, I do use this medication, however my RA doc has me make it up into a cream and use it topically instead of swallowing them and risking stomach and intestinal damage. Diclofenac is a rather old, but good good antinflamatory NSAID medication that really can ruin your stomach which is why they don't prescribe it much anymore.
I know it may sound strange but it works really well. My husband will rub it in all over my back, arms and legs and within about 15 minutes there is som pretty good pain relief.
I am on other meds for my RA/fibro as well and use the diclofenac cream when I am in a bad flare.
