Hi,
Do you have the ultrasound result already? If you are referring to ureteric jets, these are usually used for evaluation of ureterodynamics or in detection of obstructive uropathy. It is best that you discuss the results with your attending physician for proper evaluation of the renal ultrasound. Other factors such as medical history, symptoms and results of other tests are important considerations also. Take care and do keep us posted.
They said alot of pts ureteric jets dont show. I was just getting a second opinion. I was also told i had cyst on right kidney that was harmless. Should i get a second opinion. I am concerned because my dad has RCC that has metastatic. Thank you for your help.
