open cervix 32 weeks?? :/

Ok so I've been having a lot of braxton hicks contractions and like sharp pains when I bend or do certain things and then tonight when I was washing I checked my cervix and I was very surprised to find that it was extremely soft and my finger slid right in it, it actually scared me bc I've never had that happen before. It was also higher than usual. I'm on the progesterone shot and I missed it this week, but I'm only two days late on it. So is this my cervix dialating? Should it be worried? Someone please help!

Sounds like it might be dilating but way too early. Call ur doc and explain it to him or her hopefully they can stop it. Or they will place u on bed rest.

Some woman dialate at 32 weeks..and go on to have there baby near their due date.with my daughter I was 1cm dialated at 32 weeks..and only changed to 3cm at 36 weeks..went on 3 days before my due date had my baby girl..

I've also had thick gooey mucus like discharge for about 3 days now too. I belive it's my mucus plug.
