I am currently pregnant with my second baby, and we had one miscarriage before my first. The tests showed that I did not have enough progesterone and had a Luteal phase defect. My doctor prescribed "Natural Progesterone Cream" twice a day and that is the only way I have ever been able to get pregnant and have healthy pregnancies. However, anything other than "Natural Progesterone Cream" is unsafe during pregnancy. The cream is applied 2-3 times a day (1/4 to 1/4 tsp. each time) until the 12th week. I have done extensive research and spoken to various doctors and the cream has never shown side effects, problems, miscarriages or fetal defects. Synthetic progesterone is not tolerated the same way and has many, many side effects and miscarriages reported.
Just thought I would share my experience with everyone.
Thanks!
Bio-identical, natural progesterone cream given in the amounts recommended by Dr Lee is very safe and is actually recommended during pregnancy, however, the synthetic hormones can do more harm than good.
