Follow up reports revealed pars plana cyst in both eyes.

I have been having a very rough week and also asked questions here. During my follow up appointment today, the vitreo-retinal specialist said that there are cysts in the pars plana which may look like RD, but they are not to be treated in any way. I am very scared now ( Given my OCD as well ). What if these cysts grow and create vitreous traction? Is it possible? The doctor said, the RD/retinal tear risk in people with AND without pars plana cyst is the same.

Pars plana cysts are benigh, do not affect vision, and do not increase the risk of retinal detachment.  As I have said relax and give yourself a break
