Allergic Reactions

Wind-borne pollen and mold trigger a chain reaction in people with allergies. When an allergic person is exposed to pollen or mold, their immune system identifies the allergen as harmful (even though it’s not), and overreacts, producing antibodies to fight the allergen, and causing inflammation — in the form of sneezing, a rash, itchy, watery eyes, a runny nose and trouble breathing, among other symptoms.
