Symptoms to Watch Out For

The most common symptoms of prostate cancer may not show up until the later stages of the disease. When symptoms appear, they will most likely affect urinary behavior, and include:

  •  Trouble urinating
  •  Difficulty starting or stopping urination
  •  The need to urinate often
  •  A weak flow of urination
  •  Pain or burning during urination

Other symptoms include difficulty achieving and maintaining an erection, blood in urine or semen and frequent pain in the lower back, hips or upper thighs.
