Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy Group
A rare condition, often found in family units where a parent is a health care professional (Nurse, etc). The HCP either craves the attention or has phobias/manias of desease, illness, etc dragging their kids (even healthy) to a Dr. or hospital for unneeded tests and treatments.
Often it shows up in those who are Hypochondriacs and cannot get the attention they need/crave/believe they deserve for themselves any longer, so they use their kid(s) to receive the attention instead.
