Once you reach your destination, sweet treats and large meals make it easy to take a vacation from your diet and exercise routine. Since this is vacation, indulging is OK, but you don’t have to forgo health and fitness completely. A quick 10- or 20-minute stretching or aerobic routine in the morning can keep your muscles fresh without needing equipment. Or make it a family event and take a 20-minute walk around the block for a mini cardio workout. Remember, some activity is better than no activity. It can inspire you to make healthier food choices, or at least put a small dent in your holiday consumption.
