Oh and I guess I should mention my non-selfish reason for wanting to adopt an older child - because it's so much harder for them to find families and many simply "age out" of the system. :( Very sad. It truly breaks my heart that my husband is so against adoption. :(

I really want to adopt on older child, though, not an infant, and not because it's less expensive, but because I don't want to be much older of a parent than I already am. :) I'm adopted, and my aunt is the CEO of an international adoption and family service organization, so adopting would be especially meaningful for me.

I'll be curious to hear how your RE appointment goes. I want another child, but I'm still holding out hope my husband will agree to adopt one of these days...fat chance. :(

At least you've lost baby weight plus! I lost about 22 pounds those first two weeks, but still have over ten to go to reach pre-pregnancy weight! Been holding steady for nine weeks - WTF???

I guess I'm sticking with my original plan - returning to work part time in April and then back to full time in August...I still don't know how I'll really know until I actually get back in the office, so we'll see...

Looks like neither of us have been on much lately...everything going okay other than your pounding head? My little one gave me a run for my money the past 24 hours...he was VERY fussy and demanding after his 2 month old immunizations...and to make matters worse, my husband was out of town for work for the first time since baby's arrival - great timing!!! UGH.

Yay Annabelle!!! Ellie has nasal congestion cough and constipation (from eating less from being sick). She also had a low grade fever this afternoon :(. Poor little girl but she still is so calm not crying or anything

Depends on who you ask...sky's the limit in my opinion, but my husband seems to think me working full time and sending baby to daycare is the only option. I say "boo husband". Thanks for the photo comments...I figured it was time to show my face to my friends...I'm just such a private person that it was hard for me to do so, even with the privacy options...
