Welcome to our community!
Is your name Chris?
You never said your name and I didn't want to click it until I knew/
Wow, it reads the word dot too.
Ok I'm writing it in reverse: com.yahoo(at)artdoodles.
Just reverse it.
Hmm okay it won't let you give you my email. So I'm going to write it out another way.
It's art doodles at yahoo *******.
Take out the spaces between, change at to the at symbol and use a period instead of dot.
Hope that works.
Have they ever done an ultrasound on her? Where do you live?
Have they looked at her ovaries? thyroid and ovaries and adrenals all seem to share similar symptoms.
You might have to travel a bit for help. Have you looked at Dr. Lowe's website? There is lots of infor on the thyroid there.
I haven't had my ultrasound yet. It's later today. I don't expect much different from last one. The thyroid meds I'm on might have shrunk it down a bit. But the inflammation continues. I think it might be nerve damage too. The only thing that helped with the pain in the past was antidepressants. I didn't like some of the side effects but it worked on the pain part.
The brain is still a mystery. Can't write more. Here's my email: ***@****
I'm not doing good. My thyroid and immune system is a mess. I go in for another ultrasound tomorrow. I worry about Reidel's thyroiditis.
Your daughter's symptoms don't sound like Lupus. If she has thyroid antibodies it's probably Hashimotos and is burning out. It can create a multitude of symptoms. Doctors still go by old school textbook. You need to find a thyroid surgeon. She should just have it out. When my right thyroid was removed in 2006 it took away my racing heart and hyper symptoms. But the gland is still getting inflamed and now I feel lots of compression.
Won't let me write more.
I've been reading your posts. I too have been suffering with thyroiditis since 2005. I'm still in pain.
Tell me how your daughter is doing? Did she ever get fully better? If so, how long did it take and what treatment?
I really hope you found some answers.
I think you're right. What once was rare is becoming less and less rare.
So sad. By the way I posted in 2006 as Delena. I've had to start a new user name because I could never remember the password to get back in. The severe repeated thyroid attack have made me very debilitated.
