Just a quick note to say GO GAMECOCKS!!!
I got my hcv when I was living in sc, n. charleston. Got hit by a tractor trailer and just made it out alive, but had to get a transfusion due to blood loss.
I'm sorry to hear about your daughter Candice, I too lost 2 children.
Just a quick note to say hi! So how go things? Did you ever get the numbers? I think you should comunicate with Anne 1717? oh im bad @ numbers. she is on my friend's list. And is from a place, that is great. you to could share med info.. Good luck look forward to hearing from ya. And still rolling on your comment on my journal. really sometimes I think of what ya wrote. Good one lady. cracks me up. Take care
Hi all will go well, so I hope for you. There are always delays with the law.. I gave a friend of mine your 411 as I think you 2 may have something in common... or may be able to share some 411... Hugs , keep up your spirits Ginger is out of time.. lol
how you doing? you have been quiet, so have I..I hope you are not getting discouraged. I hope you are at peace. I look forward to hearing about how things go for you, and what you learn. And hey if things dont go. Then you will know you tried. Often there are road blocks. especially when dealing with lawyers and buerocrats... Im just thinking of you, and hope you are doing will
Just a quick note to say hi! good luck. They should stop paying for it too! cause if its not a gift of love, its not a gift! drunks and people with substance abuse issues, will sell their plasma for money for their next bottle of booze or bag of dope. And maybe they know maybe they dont know they have a disease. A person I know thinks they have no disease, because his wife gives blood. They ask questions to determine risk. So she's married, does not drink or do drugs, but her husband does all of the above or most of the above. I really dont think they test it all.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. How are you doing? and how does your battle for safe blood go? I could make some calls and probally find the blood place in the Reno/Sparks Nv are where my mother sold her plasma upto 1997. I dont know what it would take to get their records on her and her tainted blood?? But we could get a copy of her death certificate which read ethonalism, final stages of liver failure and hypotension. Im not 100% positive what she had. She wanted me in the room to suport her, but they refused my being allowed in. She came out said they said give no more plasma/blood, banned! aprox 5 yrs or so later I got letter of her death. it took em yrs to find me.
It's all good. Been getting the "rescue" drugs for my white cells and hemoglobin, so should remain a little more stable throughout TX. I am obviously feeling better as I am back on the MedHelp site. Haven't been here since Thanksgiving, truly.
Anything you need, I have 3 computers here in my home office with various capabilities. You need something...get er to me. I was a Sr. Project Manager, so can use a Project! :) I expected things to go slowly on your end to start, but once the holidays are over..hopefully...you will be rip roaring ready to go! Enjoy whatEVER kind of fun winter weather you are getting, your own health, and Drive to keep going! xoxoxo Janee
Thank you for the kind words. I wish you the best in your fight. I live in Canada and I am sure you know we had a programme that anyone who rec'd a transfusion pre-1984, when the Red Cross got smart, rec'd generous compensation from gov't.
Thank you. I have been thinking of you, also. Just got my first test back, only a partial..white count just bombed, so I go to a new doc tomorrow...hematologist. Thinking positive!
I assumed that through the holidays, you might slow down a little...if only because of the availability of your contacts.
Trust all is well.
Thank you for the friend invite. If you feel I can do anything, please do let me know. I started to read a little deeper into your profile and will continue to do so, my dear. Not sure what that is..but one never knows. I did also have transfusions Again in 2001-2001. It never did occur to me that there would be contaminated blood in there in this day and age.
Welcome. My transfusions were in 1972 pre screening and it took until 2000 before I heard it was C, and not any of the others. I look at this the same way I did a bad bad marriage. After fighting a battle with the lawyers, I gave up Every material possession and walked away, not worrying about what was Mine, Ours or otherwise. It freed my soul. I approach my HCV the same way....no matter how I got it, I would be wasting precious Energy on a large negative by engaging in a lawsuit and want to pursue recapturing my Health. I hope that you can, very soon, find a way to pursue a course of Positive Action to help you deal with your pain. Looking backwards won't solve anything but keep stirring up the hurt and anger. Please feel free to vent At me if it helps, Janee
