Hey there, just sent you a PM, Hope all is well with you
Got "the call" yesterday - going in this morning - wish me luck (finally got listed 2.5 months ago) - thank you for your past support - Brian
Thanks for your note, OH. I can't tell you how relieved I am that he made it through treatment. It was long and tough for the both of us. I don't know if he will make it to SVR since he took only 200 mg of the ribavirin daily for most of the treatment. There were definite improvements in his labwork and as I wrote in a recent post his hgb 2 weeks post treatment is still at 10. Only time will tell if he will need another treatment to finally clear this virus or not.
Good to hear from you and hope you are enjoying your Hep C free life.
I went back to the Urologist yesterday and found out the Lithotripsy didn’t work. It did change shape from a round 6mm to 4mmx7mm. I go back Monday for another Lithotripsy. If this doesn’t work, the next procedure will be horrific. They have me on so many Pain Meds; I will probably have to go to Betty Ford when this is finally over with.
Just a quick note to say hi! Just stopping by! Sorry I haven't displayed my prized possession. It's safe and sound though. Were trying to move and it's a mess here. But it will be displayed in the next house. Hope all is well with you!
I have had 2 of 5 radiation treatments for my HCC so far with number 3 coming up tomorrow. I have been bedridden since the first treatment. This treatment is brutal. I hope it works enough to get me a transplant soon.
Hey there! Thanks so much for your note. It really made my day. I will PM you asap
Just a quick note to say hi!
Oceans of hugs to you too! Yes!
Thank you very much. I will be trying Cyberknife cancer treatment this month and hope it may be the answer for me.
So very sorry to hear this news.
Remaining either an optimist or perpetually in denial, I'd like to say that one never knows, because it is true and amazing things do occasionally happen out of the blue, when it is least expected or even when little hope remains.
Thank you! Howdy stranger.
I don't know if you have heard but my last cancer treatment failed and I am further from transplant than I was a month ago. Things for me have gone from bad to worse and it is looking like I am not going to be eligible for a transplant and will die of liver cancer. This is a difficult time for me and I am not sure what will be happening in the future. I am taking it one day at a time and trying to stay hopeful and deal with my situation.
I hope you are doing well and feeling well.
hmm brownies been many of years since i ate them but if tylenol don't work ill have to relate to something thanks
Just a quick note to say hi! I am very well :-)
I will pm you in a bit.
Hey there! Really glad to hear you are doing well!
Hi, just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that hubby's 6 mo check up with his hepatologist on Thursday went well. No signs of cancer, no signs of decompensation. Next ultrasound and check back with her is in December.
Thanks... I do take a good multivitamin ... I think I'm going to nix the b12 tho... The crash is kind of bad. I had similar crashes (worse ) with NADH. Hope all is well with you :)
so is it safe to take the liquid vitamin b12 everyday? thanks!
I really miss you my friend.
Hi OH, thanks for the tip about liquid vitamin B12...I took some today and it helped me get through the work day!
Just a quick note to say hi Orphanhawk. You are missed.
However, I am happy for you busy with your new life.
All the best, friend
Thinking of you my friend.
You've been a busy bee, moving can be a very stressful situation, and yes as long art is in your heart and your working on pieces on that level the next step will be transposing it into the physical world.Enjoy your new bike....I danced with you on the clouds when I got my SVR...Cheers and may the buddha be with you.
Just checking in,hope all is well with my medhelp cyber American artist friend, kisses and hugs.
Just a quick note to say hi!
I'm doing great. Taking the new Gilead drugs. Dr. Frederick is now head of the clinical trials at CPMC. He called me to do this trial but I had already signed with Dr J from Quest Clinical 2 weeks earlier. If I would have known Bzowej left for New Orleans I would have called him when I heard Gilead was recruiting. Fredericks has moved up at the Liver and Transplant Center and he is deserving of this position. He's still my hepatologist but Dr J who only does trials for Gilead is taking me through this next treatment. Hope I make SVR and join the club with you. Thanks for the note. Patti
Glad you like them. I enjoy looking at art and learning about different styles and techniques.
Ha! I love that "My" ravens like to fly down close to my dogs too, they seems to like to play now that my dogs don't chase them.
I have read that some ornithologists compare raven brains to canine. Interesting.
So happy for you OH!
Thinking about you. Must be lovely up there with Spring on its way.
Miss your presence here a lot.
Take care :-)
