Thank you for the note!
It's always nice to see a familiar face, unfortunately there's not many of us here anymore ....Alex was very upsetting to read about, grateful she would still be thinking of us even now!!
Well I guess we just got up together then! Yay for us! I'm doing good, thank you, and it's really good to be back in touch. How you feeling?
Long overdue greetings ma'lady - Hope this note finds you well <3 (((hugs))))
Dagun, thank you so much for the note! I really appreciate the warm welcome! I will keep you posted and will look forward to hearing more of what is going on with you.
How did it go with the new neuro? Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hugs, ess
Just a quick note to say hi! I rode the Icelandic Pony and it was wonderful! They are so pretty. The tolting was great. It was all I had dreamed of.
Just a quick note to say hi! How are you my friend? The Cancer is also shrinking to the point I might have no more tumors. With each treatment they go down. A year ago I felt hopeless now I think in a year I might have a normal life again. I think of you often. I wish you could have my Neurologist.
Hello dear Dagun, thank you for you note prior to my surgery. I am so relieved to be alive and well in fact I am much better than before operation - my mind is much clearer, I'm not stuttering. My MS symptoms are very light at the moment and today I'm off to play tennis with my kids. Hope you're keeping well. Blessings Alex
Just a quick note to say hi I am better but no riding for me the chemo is making my hands blister. My mouth and throat are also blistered.
Just a quick note to say hi! hey i dont know if i am doing this right or not, seems i may not be, noone has answered any of my post but you, i hate this too, not knowing, i am just so upset tonight, waited this long i guess a few more days wont hurt, thx, kelly
Just a quick note to say hi
just wondered if any of this sounds familiar to you and where are you at right now as far as a diagnosis. thx,
Just a quick note to say hi! Dagun, you are a good friend. Have you gotten a diagnosis yet?
Just a quick note to say hi! They come up new Cancer treatments all the time. I have more hope than ever that they can keep me going a long time. This Clinical Trial seems to be working. They can't cure my cancer yet but this chemo does not make me as sick as the chemo I was on last year.
Just a quick note to say hi Dagun, I hope you are well. I was just telling a group a friends about Icelandic horses. I know they are trying to protect the breed but in this day and age you think they could not have to go to such extremes. I have heard Icelandic horses have a really smooth gait. I just got back from the Cancer Hospital. I could not chemo because I am too sick. My blood work says I am sick. I do not feel sick.
Just a quick note to say hi! How are you my friend? I found out someone near by has Icelandic Ponies. I am going to ask to ride one.
Just a quick note to say hi!
Have been wondering how you are feeling
Hope you are better
Seriously, Iceland is on my bucket list!
I wish my vacation was taking me to Iceland. Some day ...... !
Thought I'd stop by and spam your note page with a big huge hug :D
Hope you're well :)
Just a quick note to say hi!
Just a quick note to say hi! It is not good. I have to have another blood test in 6 weeks to see if it is still high.
You are so welcome sweet lady. I can hear the frustration in your typed words. What meds did the doc give you? I have to say that were anti-spasticity meds are concerned, they sure can be a life saver. If you find it unbearable, do give even a little a try. A little relief goes along way with daily living. Worse case scenario you don't like the results and you can stop them. I understand how hard it can be to have people in your life to talk to about certain things they just aren't willing to understand. By all means, when you need us, you know we are here. Publically, or privately - just send that message. Wishing you a beautiful Easter :) (((cyber hugs to you))))
I haven't been able to visit our forum much lately, but I wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you. I hope all is well, Dagun. I'm sending positive thoughts your way. Hugs!
Just a quick note to say hi!
I would definitely like to come to Iceland and love the idea that there would be a friendly face to show me around. I hope all is well with you, L
Too bad we aren't neighbors, we could get together and share coffee and stories. It is always good to see you pop up here. hugs, L
Just a quick note to say hi! Happy New Year to you. We survived 2012 may 2013 be better.
I read this forum and see so many people that are still waiting for a diagnosis. It's amazing to me.
I just don't want to waste anybody's time. I feel like I am. In the end I will go again for yet the next opinion. It's what my neuro wants, and he's been so good to me.
So tell me, you are in the dreaded limbo land. What proof exactly do the doctors require? My concern with limbo land isn't really the waiting, to find out, it's more the waiting to treat.
Thanks for reaching out to me
If you ever want to chat about Asperger's please do not hesitate to PM me! Female Aspies are pretty rare so a lot of the information thats available is male orientated and totally unhelpful when you've got a girl Aspie :o) Our daughter is the only girl Aspie in our family but my son is an Aspie too, as is both my brothers so my experience covers a wide age range (0-50) Actually supporting the educational and vocational needs of people with Asperger's, was what I use to do for a living, so any questions you may have, i've probably got something in my bad of tricks that maybe helpful to you, so please feel free to ask anything!
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!
Thanks so much for your note! I have been going to group therapy for the past two days as asked and saw the psychiatrist today for my eval. He does not think I have conversion syndrome! :) He *does* think that anyone in my (our) situation would need mental health support, and wants me to finish the program.
He is going to do some research on my symptoms and try to get me another Neuro/Muscular consult. He said "there *IS* a cause to this Neuropathy, and I will do what I can to help you find it" ...hearing that made me feel so good, like"Okay, a PSYCHIATRIST is telling me this is REAL! Whhhooo hooo, someone LISTENED to me! Finally!"
Ugh...2wks, M-F 9am-4pm. It's exhausting, but hope it will be worthwhile.
Thank you. I am fairly new to Medhelp forums so suggestions are always welcome :)
