Just a quick note to say hi! Sorry I haven't been on here for a long time; I just got a Happy Easter note from one of the girls on here who also hadn't been on for awhile, and saw all the notes that had been posted in the last few years. I've been well and I am thankful to you for thinking of me. Have a blessed day! :)
hi mom to 3,
Well it was been another year and I see that you are still doing wonderful things on this site. Year 4 and no SVT. I'm doing great and I hope that you are as well. I hope you have a great holiday season.
Take care, Rose (rosetoes)
Just a thank you for always supporting people and being so positive, it really helps!
Thank you for asking. Life is the usual with good and bad. My Mom is more confused, more stubborn, more difficult to help and stay positive. My daughter's marriage isn't any better but she's handling it better. My husband's hospice patient passed away last week and we went to the funeral yesterday. My heart has been very unkind to me with chest pain and salvos (of PSVT or NSVT?) over 200 bpm. I don't like that. And the ultimate insult - we aren't getting any summer weather here in the NW. LOL We may get some blue patches and temps up to 75 today. What a relief. :-) And I have a baby chipmunk and a teeny baby wood rat I'm raising at home. Isn't life interesting? I'm ready for a bit of boring. :-)
Just a quick note to say hi! I can't believe that it has been over 3 years sine my ablation. I am doing fine and haven't had a reoccurrence of SVT. How have you've been?
Just a quick note to say hi! And HAPPY EASTER!
Just a quick note to say hi!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Hey Momto3. I haven't talked to you in a long long time. Not sure if you remember me, but I posted awhile back with dilated cardiomyopathy and VT.. Finally ended up with a heart transplant in Nov 2008. Doing very well...except for current issues of PAC's and SVT. I go to the EP on Wednesday. How are you?
You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today.
Just a quick note to say hi!
Enjoy the long weekend! I often think of you, and how well you are doing with your heart valves. Take care and hope everthing is hoping well with you.
Hey there! Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July, my friend! <3 xoxo
Just a quick note to say hi! Thank you, so is your profile picture. I caught that fish on the Salmon River which feeds into the Pacific Ocean close to Lincoln City, Oregon on a dry fly. It's a native, protected fish called a Sea-Run Cutthroat Trout, catch and release with barbless hooks. The magazine cover is an out and out fake, a couple of my grandkids worked computer magic and came up with it. Hope you are well and enjoy transcribing. I'm doing OK.
I should add, two minutes after the picture was taken and I'd released the fish, I slipped and fell in, my son grabbed me as I headed downstream. Fortunately I'd brought a small flask with good spirits to improve my mood, and soon I was back fishing.
Just a quick note to say hi! I am still around. Just had OHS again, 4 weeks ago: sternum dehiscence.
How are you doing? Your valve still holding up?
Happy Halloween to you, my friend! ~XO
Thanks. Include a link is a wonderful idea. Again thank you.
Just a quick note to say hi! Connie I don't know what it was caused by. I just found out two weeks ago on a routine checkup . My doc heard a murmur and the next day I went to have an echo. I go for a stress test in November . I guess I'll find out more than. Funny things is I've never felt healthier. I workout, eat right , my weight is good and my vitals are great.....Go figure. Thanks again JaneAnn
Thank you for hosting this forum. I just joined about a week ago & already been a great help. When I posted my 2rd post, I forgot to attached a pdf file (actually it is the ECG that I am referring to), how can I add the ECG in this post? Or do I have to start a new post to include the ECG? Thank you & best wishes for you & your family.
Just a quick note to say hi! I just wanted to say hi, and let you know that your postings gave me some relief from my anxiety . I was just diagnosed with moderate/severe mr and mitral valve prolapse. Am asymptomatic and feeling healthy.. and fit .Was a total shock to here, but I coping one day at a time.
Thanks for being the community leader. I wanted to contact someone who posted in 1998 with the same heart problem that I now have-- failed bypass grafts. I am afraid that he may have died or just never checks this website anymore. Probably best just to forget it.
Just a quick note to say hi! Are you the monitor of this forum? I have a question about members and postings. I want to contact someone who has not posted since 1998.
Good for you. I bet you had a blast too! As for me I don't like being away from my dogs for more than a few hours. I'm just a bit of a hermit. LOL This years harvest...ha... great crop except for the fact that it all got blight. ;-/ Fortunately I found out we can buy our veggies from the Amish cheaper than we can grow them. Next year I'm just planting fun food (pumpkins, sunflowers etc.) 1 cherry tomato, some lettuce and spinach. That's it. Well maybe some peppers too. hee hee. As for now just hoping to get my health in order enough for hunting season. It's always nice to hear from you, keep in touch and let me know how your doing. Take care; Amy
Hi Connie, It's been a long while. I was looking threw your photo's. AWESOME! I never even leave town. ;-/ LOL I hope all is well with you. Just dropped by to say hi. ;~)
Hmmm, where are you? Are you doing OK? It's been awhile since I've seen you around. Just wondering..... irene
Just wanted to give you an update. Hope you remember me (I'm the one with the post "mitral prolapse) I did a stress test yesterday and it was negative, that was a relief. I now feel that I am on the way of feeling better at least psychologically.
Thank you so much and for the sharing, especially when I ask about pregnancy and you said you have 3 children all with MVP/MR that helped me a lot.
Thank you for everything!
I posted a reply on the forum itself for you. Once again, thank you.
Hey Connie! Just dropping by to let you know your CBFF was thinking about you:)
Not yet Connie, my EP went out of the country for 2 weeks - I do have it scheduled for August 28th
I'm having a sleep study done this wknd - they said the back of my throat is narrowed and may have to have surgery if the CPaP doesn't work for OSA (not sure I even have it, but we'll see )
Thanks for the note, have a great day.
Thank you for everything! I've been reading about your journey with the pvc monster and I'm really inspired by you.
Just a quick note to say hi!
Love your golden retriever. His name is the same as my male cat Samson. He has passed on now.
Thanks I'm glad to know others feel what I'm going through and I don't feel as crazy anymore LOL
