Just a quick note to say hi!Hi Rita, how are you doing? I think they're baaackk.
Thank you for your posts. wow can I relate to you. I am also a nurse in oncology and palliative care. I feel so stupid that I too curl into a ball and want my mommy whenever PVCs PACs hit me hard. Weird how they cycle. I can be fine for years then BOOM. non stop. Reading what you post makes me feel more normal about my response. I am a nervous mess when I get a run of problems for a few weeks. I am 52 and wonder if hormones are playing a part for me too. SUCKS!! Anxiety makes it all worse too. Vicious cycle
I have been a lurker on here for quite a long time, coming online to take a look around when my PVCs start acting up. I've seen so many of your responses and just wanted to tell you how grateful I am that you are a poster. You are understanding, compassionate, and even add in some humor where needed. Thank you for being such a great friend, even though you didn't know I was out there :). I'll bet you're a hell of a nurse too!
Just a quick note to say hi!
Thank you for the much needed laugh...
Hope your heart continues to beat for eternity ;)
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Just a quick note to say hi! Been having them for years now. This latest bout is the worst......Have had them since last March. Went to ER ..they got them on the EKG and said ...just harmless skipped beats....thought they would subside ...but nope ....this is the longest I ever had them without getting a break. After eating .....really bad.
Just stopping in to say hello and I hope your PVCs are behaving lately! :)
I love ya RNRITA your post in response to pvc and pvc are so comforting, you are an earth angel ! thank you for helping me,even though you don't even know it !
Just wanna say i saw you post on pvc and its great to read such words. Being 25 and still finding my way to live with them, it encourages me to keep my hopes up. Thanks for that. Have a good day.

Just a quick note to say hi! Rita, good to see a post from you yesterday. Hope you are well and that work is going well too.

You play guitar and piano, very cool. And your job, your a superwoman aren't you.My son loves guitar hero, not quite the same I know.My six your old seen your picture,he thinks your pretty! You seem in better spirits.I'm taking my son to Disneyland soon.My Mom passed at the City of Hope in that area,so I have to put my feelings aside,my son's first and just go!I've met and seen many nurses,I bet your a great one, many aren't.You just look like a nice person.Have a great day,God bless,Jen
oops,I cut and pasted your note last to first.
Don't forget about you and think about how your going to get through the anniversary of your Mom's passing. My Mom's is also coming up in August,so I do understand, more then you know.Big hug & God bless,Jen P.S,Pray, thats how I got through my son's birthday! Valarian during the day,on those days also,or whatever calms your nerves.
Get all the tears out early in the morning, and be strong, but don't be afraid to cry on his birthday,he loves you,he will understand.Valarian root, its like natural Valium. Before the night of your husband's birthday take 1-2,relax,put some lavendar lotion on or spray some around the room, and tell your self I deserve to be happy and to just let it go,all your sadness, give yourself permission to live again. Some of this a massage therapist told me,it helps.Don't put to much pressure on yourself and don't worry to much about your husband's birthday.
You have to act happy around your patients, grandchildren, look at it the same way ,act happy.I have a six year old son,I have to be happy,or at least appear that way. That morning, every morning actually.Get up,look at pictures, listen to songs, write out yor hurt in a journal to God,your Mom,the situation.
Thanks for that posting, I had forgotten about those too. Your posting made me laugh though :)
I was reading some of your posts and I am interested in what kind of magnesium supplements you use and also your dosage?
I too am trying everything I can to lessen these dreadful arrhythmia's.
Just wanted to let you know that I was thinking of you, hope you're feeling better! I know and understand how scared you are, it can be quite miserable, especially when you're trying to work, I just started a new job, at a hospital, and I'm still worried about my stupid heart, I'll keep you in my prayers! God Bless,
Happy Mother's Day!Have a great weekend and a very blessed Mother's Day.
