Yeaaaaa!!!!!! Congratulations. Now you can start getting stronger and feeling better. So happy to hear the good news.
Hope this finds you well!! I lost almost 30 lb while on tx, but as soon as I stopped all medications, my weight came back even though I was walking more than I had ever done before as we were camping in the mountains. I still seem to be gaining and I have never had a weight problem. I had clothes adjusted at the seamstress as nothing fit. Now everything is tight. Not sure if others had this experience and does it stop. I am now going on 11 months post tx. Do you know when we get our 1 year. Is it a year from stopping tx or a year from starting tx?
Have a great Day and weight gain is really not so much after what we have been through. The devil himself I think created this virus. Thank God for SVR
Diana, I walked 5 miles a day this summer after tx and still gained the weight I lost back and it still has not leveled out. Who knows what I would have gained if I had not walked.
Hang in there. Life gets better fast, At least it did for me. I had to do incivek for 12 weeks but could only do 9 because of severe side effects. As soon as I stopped it, it got much easier. Now I feel as it was all a nightmare. My nurse told on my first visit, the worse you feel, the better the meds are working. I think she might have been right but was probably not suppose to tell me that,Good Luck. Keep fighting and so sorry you have to go through this.
Congratulations!!!!You will make it!!!
Happy New Year.
Wishing you a better 2014....
Just a quick note to say hi! Thinking of you as we pass into the new year hoping all is well with you.
Hey Diana. I still feel like I'm on interferon at times. Right now I'm EOT + 2 weeks. Seems like a long time to still feel that last interferon shot 3 weeks ago. I did read however that some in the medical community have advocated more study of post EOT side-effects which anecdotally can last for quite a while apparently. This is good news for me because that 'interferon feeling' could be the result of a viral rebound also --- the cytokine cascade triggered by viruses. Probabilities suggest that if you are UND at EOT and also after the first 4 weeks, then there is over a 90% probability that you are SVR. Given that you are already SVR(4.5), your odds are even higher. It's a really good sign that you are still UND after not taking meds for as long as you have. Have a great TG!
Just a quick note to say hi!hi diana, thanks for your note. . . Yes feeling a lutyle better, was having hemoglobin usaues again, near the end so now that has improved. I hope you are doing well Diana and I thank you for all your support during my treatment. I know our post treatment milestones will be close so I will be watching your notes and posts.
Best wishes, Shyrl
How r u Diana? Just wanted to say hi. Hope all is well. I'm in the waiting stage ... finished tx. wk 24 was UND, but now I'm starting to not feel so good. Hope I'm not having a rebound, but I will find out in 3 more weeks. n-e-how, let me know how you're doing. Best, Mark
Just a quick note to say hi! Hope you are getting better each day,
Just a quick hello and hoping you feeling better!
This is all great news. Will be looking for your SVR soon! Keep getting stronger Hugs!
Congrat!!!! Sooooo happy for you.
Hi Diana. Yesterday I took shot #19. Weeks are flying by! I've got a new, svelt body and feel generally much better. A few things here and there make me worry, but so far, so good. How are you doing? Is the lymphoma resolving?
Oh yeah...thyroid is in normal range at EOT. Thanks
I think you are right..I probably need to switch up with some Gatorade .I did that more during tx. At least my thinking is so much clearer. Congrats again on finishing!!
Great job you did. Now to relax in Bali
That is soooo great! Here we come SVR! I go next month.
Wonderful and congratulations! Your on your way to feeling not just good but great. I just came home from a 3 month camping trip where our longest hike was 9 miles and did not blink an eye. Going for my 6 month post tx on Monday. I am a month late as we were away. A little anxious but hoping for that good news. We all worked so hard for it. Keep going strong, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for everything! I appreciate the support! Wow...you are right there at the finish! I know how tired you must be but just the stress and weight of tx lifted off your shoulders will be so refreshing! Best wishes!
Hey October is right around the corner and not much longer for you. My energy is back full swing. I think that I feel better now than I did before.
Dear Diana, hang in there, it does get better. you are so very close, my thoughts and prayers are with you, Dee
Thank you! It did feel good to finally do the last one. I took the empty syringe box and shook it like crazy to make sure another one wasn't hiding in there! The next couple of weeks will go by before you know it! Take care!
Hey there! I sent you another response on the cyro, could it be something else?..or does it look exactly like before. Hang in there my friend
Just a quick note to say hi!
You have me watching abs.neutrophils now. It went as low as .7 last week but this week it is back to 1.5 and my Wbc to 2.4. You can't be feeling too well with your numbers so low and the chest virus.

Hi Diana, I am well thank you. I have been keeping busy with family visits and just puttering around the house. I am usually always involved in some home project, so it feel a little like normal. . . That's good right? I love home made chicken soup, especially the jumbo or chunkier soups.
So how is your light work out going? Just checking up on you. It's not even October but I am nervous about my blood test. I know I stand a good chance of SVR but still scared.
Good Morning from my side of the world, funny I tried to leave a note, not realizing I was in my own account :)
Thanks for keeping in touch, D
Hey, Things are much better since May 2nd. It took some time to get it back but I feel great and I see life in a different way. It has changed me for the better. It has brought me so much closer to my fiancé. I am glad that I made the decision to go threw it and hopefully it will pay off come this October. I know the end is near for you. How are you doing?
Thinking of you, rooting for you, good job!
