Just a quick note to say hi! Hi Eureka. I hope you and your husband are well. My daughter told me today that her father can't get into the Dana Farber institute in Boston because they can't do a biopsy on him due to the fear that he would bleed to death. Is this plausible? Thanks in advance...Kathy

Just a quick note to say hi and thanks for your advice on my post. I have been on a mild anti-depressant for several years but still battle with some depression when I go through these new symptoms and am uncertain if they are going to past or stay with me. On the protein - I have been told to eat a low protein diet due to the ammonia levels. Are you suggesting that this only applies to the protein from meats?

My husband is being wonderful during this. I didn't want to treat, he wanted me to but kept his opinion to himself and waited for me to come to my senses. He's in constant pain, perhaps that gives him the perspective to understand the turmoil I feel. I find your advice helpful, well thought out, and kind no matter what issue you are addressing. I wonder if you know the ripples of calm you send over this community. My thoughts are with you and your husband. I'll be there when I can and try not to post when feeling hyperbolic (I don't know where that comes from, it's really not me).

Hi Eureka, Thanks for the note and the friendship. I am glad to have met you through the forum also. Tx makes me feel like I have early Alzheimer's! LOL I find myself leaving important things out of my posts and my attention to detail has gone downhill as well as my contributions to our online family that gives so much to all of us.

Thank you for everything Eureka you were one of the first people to reach out to me on this site. My husband has genotype 3 - stage 3 early 4 and is on his last injection of 24. He was undetected at week 2 so we are praying he will be SVR. I was so anxious about the treatment but your reassurrance and kindness was hugely appreciated. Its nicce to see you back and I will be keeing you and your husband in my thoughts

Though I was <615 IU at week 12, I did not become UND until somewhere between 16 and 20 weeks, hence the extention to 72 weeks. I finish in July. Like your husband, I sometimes wonder what it's going to be like to feel normal again!

Thank you so much for the input I dont consume alcohol. I barely exercise and had sever constipation for 7 month with a colon cancer family backrnd and my doctor put me on Miralax. My GI doctor called me to tell the result and will do more blood test this week. Will keep u posted.
