Hi there. I caught your post about not giving up and how your embryo have improved in quality which is so great! is there anything that you did different maybe in your diet or was you meds different. Pls leave me a note as i have just started with my 2nd IVF. My first got cancelled due to too little eggs. Good luck!

check out betabase (dot) info... it's still possible that you're at the low end of the range... will they let you test again? We were having exactly the same symptoms on the same days... I can't believe your test was a BFN?!?

Honestly, there just wasn't enough HCG for that second test. You'll see, we're having the same exact symptoms! Just got the call-- I went from 60 to 113. Avg for singles= 94; twins 126... argh, I was hoping to have a sign from this test. Perfectly inconclusive.

If it's more than a little light spotting (which is magnified by the progesterone goop) have the RE check your progesterone levels just to be safe. I was leaking so much of it that there wasn't much left to be absorbed.

Woohoo! HCG concentrations are higher in the AM-- I'll bet you didn't have enough to be detected with the second test. Let me know when they call with the results!! I know it's going to be good news! Feeling pretty much nothing but progesterone so far too...

Exactly the same: cramping was worry-some for a day; breasts come and go-- they were my first sign last time which makes me nervous. Since we were aiming for an IUI when I over responded to the meds & had to convert to IVF, I'm not sure I'd do IVF again, at least not right away. Hopefully it won't matter!

I think you're going to get some good news, I've been having the same experience with the symptoms. Still planning on testing before DH leaves?

Just checking on you. I'm feeling nothing today and almost wish the cramps would come back! We increased my progesterone to 200mg 4x/day and may supplement with PIO e/o day (ugh). Next beta tomorrow.

So sorry to hear the last cycle did not work. It is interesting that you got those results, but not surprising. A lot of research is being done now on if "beautiful" embryos are more "normal" than ugly embryos, and some of the results are inconclusive. You'd expect about 30% to be abnormal in a totally young healthy person, so your results are not alarming.

I had some scary cramping yesterday and a little spotting last night so I went to the RE-- Positive beta, u/s of the lining looked good and progesterone levels are holding up so far. I hope this lasts! I don't blame you for waiting although it sounds like you're experiencing the same cramping I had so.... ; )

Nope, never did PGD. I don't know why. I never asked because I didn't know to ask. Although, to be honest, I have a vague recollection of it... maybe I DID know and I asked but they don't do it here. I think that was it. I don't think they do it in Syria.

Go for it, just remember if it's not what you want to see it could still be early. I'm going to POAS again tomorrow-- if it's another BFP, I'm going to the RE early.

Yeah, I want to think I have some "general awareness of my reproductive organs"... not quite cramping but I know they are there-- but it's probably that my jeans are too tight! Trying to be hopeful but not set myself up for a major letdown! Hang in-- we're getting closer.

Here's hoping it doesn't have to be the same for you but yes... I did 5 fresh cycles and 3 frozen. I didn't believe my doctor that I was just unlucky but it seems that might have been the case. Or perhaps it was the aspirin and anticoagulants I was on for the last cycle that made the difference... who knows???

Hi-- we had a m/c in July... after seeing the HB. It was a non-medicated IUI cycle too -- I still can't believe I'm doing IVF knowing such a low-tech (and cheap) solution nearly worked. Hopefully this will be twins, that will make up for the $$ ; )

I feel NOTHING! ... except the progesterone. I'm trying to remember when I started feeling stuff during my last semi-successful cycle & I think it was after I got the BFP. I'm going to start POAS Sunday.

Hey-- my transfer was surprisingly good! I seriously didn't feel a thing! Both embryos survived the thaw & were growing!! How did yours go? Are they making you wait a full 2 weeks before your beta?

Hi Andrea, how are you doing? We haven't chatted in a while. Hope all is well. Where are you at with your cycles? I am in the middle of an appeal process with our insurance company, as they denied us our next IVF cycle. We were crushed and are fighting it. I've attended an adoption conference as well as an egg donor seminar to familiarize ourselves with some possibly options. I think we are leaning towards a donor cycle, if we can overturn the appeal and they approve a donor cycle for us. There has been so much craziness going on, my head is spinning! In between all of this, we are just ttc naturally. Hope to hear back from you and would like to know how things are going. Take Care. Susan
