Hi Sweetie I am sure you won't remember me. I lost my password when my computer crashed and have been very
ill but wanted to say Hi and see how you are. I have a heart blockage now and am so scared!
Hope all is well my friend
hiya hun , its been awhile again .. just checking up on ya hope you are doing better !
Hello charbie just thought i would drop by to see how you have been . hope you get well soon !
Happy Holidays! Wishing you and yours, Peace, much Love and Joy during this very Special Season.
Hi, charbie, I'm OK. I'm getting used to giving myself Avonex injections, recovering from a colonoscopy and polyp removal that messed up my insides a bit (lost 10 pounds; a good thing), not being in Limboland anymore, etc. It's kind of weird not having to fight for answers anymore, just waiting for what my new neurologist can tell me and trying to get approval for Provigil for my fatigue so I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. It is very cold here now; I can just go outside to ice my leg for tonight's Avonex injection, lol! I hope you're doing well and that you have a wonderful holiday season. Kathy
OK, I read up on Pseudomonis; ick! And I know about MRSA; one of my best friends went to the hospital with pneumonia, and contracted MRSA in her lungs while there. I had to visit her in gown, mask, and booties while she was on IV antibiotics. She finally convinced them that since they had given her the MRSA, they could pay for the $1000 pills that she could take at home to finish the treatment. (Her dog was getting neurotic staying with her neighbor). She has permanent damage to her lungs, and it also contributed to a glucose imbalance that put her in a pre-diabetes condition. Anyway, I hope that your drugs are doing the trick and getting things cleared up.
Hope you feel better soon! My sister had a PICC line in for weeks when she had bacterial endocarditis; not fun. I'll have to google the condition you mentioned; can't remember having heard of it. I was in Florida for a week and didn't get a chance to respond to your note until now, and am still exhausted from having fun, traveling; especially the flight across the country.
Got an audiology report from a battery of tests I had done, and it says I have abnormalities that suggest diffuse cochlear disease in both ears. My hearing is excellent, so I'm not sure what it adds up to. I see my oto-neurologist next week; hopefully he'll shed some light on the matter. Might be cause of my dizziness. Anyway, hope you're doing as well as possible at this point. Take care, Kathy
You deserve a big bear hug! i didn't receive your e-mail hun, I have been wondering how you have been doing. I have acardic cath Tuesday for my transplant workup, my daughter is going to donate a kidney..I miss chatting with write back love ya...brian
Hi! Thanks for the nice note; it's nice to meet you. Physical therapy was great yesterday. My regular PT was sick, but the one that filled in for her was awesome. She answered all my questions, knew what to work on by just looking at me, and it's stufff that my regular PT had missed. My hip flexors on the right were so tight she said they felt more like steel than muscles. She got things moving again and showed me some stretches. I felt great when I left! Of course, today I'm tightened up again and need to do the stretches, but I went out shopping for my best friend's birthday present. I'll do them in a little bit, and maybe ice my back. I managed to go to 6 stores today, and only used my handicapped parking placard at Costco. :o)
Just a quick note to say hi! Good to hear from you. I am hanging in there....we have to don't we? I hope you are doing better. :)

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish the absolute best~
I read what happened to you at the ER. How horrible. This is what is happening day after day in hospitals and clinic across the nation. It is a sin in my estimation. I wish no one harm but if these health care providers could spend a week in our shoes they would feel differently. I am sorry this occurred and very happy that you reported the facility. I hope they think twice before they turn someone out again. I can't tell you how angry these incidents make me. And I am a former member of the medical profession. I hope you are feeling better, Take Care, Tuck
