MANY THANKS FOR YOUR NOTE.
HMM, NOT GOOD REALLY, HAVEN'T BEEN FOR MANY MANY MONTHS.
I'VE GOT ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE WITH DR'S AND WAS SO ANNOYED AT THE RESPONSE I GOT FROM THE CARDIOLOGIST, THAT I HAVEN'T BOTHERED FILLING IN MY TRACKERS EVER SINCE.
I'M STILL GETTING A LOT OF CHEST PAINS/PALPITATIONS/PUFFY/SWOLLEN FEET/ANKLES/BREATHLESSNESS BUT THE DR SAID "OH IT WILL JUST GO AWAY".... EXPLETIVE EXPLETIVE!!!! I'VE HAD CHEST PAIN/PALPITATIONS FOR 20 YEARS AND THEY ARE NOT GOING AWAY, THEY ARE GETTING WORSE. GETTING THEM WEHN I LAY DOWN IN BED AND AFTER ACTIVITY. IT'S BECAUSE I HAVE A DIAGNOSES OF M.E. I'M STILL SURROUNDED BY IGNORANT DR'S OF THIS CONDITION...
I LOVE MY FLAT, BUT IT'S NOT PRACTICAL FOR MY NEEDS NOW, SO HAVE TO MOVE AGAIN!
HOW'S YOU SWEETIE? XXX
THANKS, YES, I HAVE A LOT OF HELP. I'M NOT GETTING INVOLVED WITH IT AT ALL!
I'M LEAVING MY PARTNERS FLAT THE NIGHT BEFORE I MOVE AND WILL BE STAYING WITH MY PARENTS FOR ONE NIGHT.
SIMPLY DON'T HAVE THE ENERGY TO DO ANYTHING AT THE MOMENT!
LIFE WILL BE EASIER IN THAT ASPECT AND I'LL BE CLOSER TO MY PARENTS, BROTHERS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE FAMILIES! YIPPEE!
YOU TAKE CARE - SPEAK SOON.
Just a quick note to say hi!
JUST THOUGHT I WOULD UPDATE YOU AND SEE HOW YOU ARE?
I'M MOVNG TO A GROUND FLOOR FLAT IN SEPTEMBER, SO THAT WILL MAKE MY LIFE EASIER. (NO MORE STAIRS TO STRUGGLE WITH)!
I'M AM POSTING MY EYE VIDEO PROBLEMS ON EVERY MS SITE THAT I KNOW IN THE HOPE THAT SOMEONE WILL SAY YES, THIS IS WHAT I HAD. THE CONSENSUS SO FAR, IS THAT M.E. WOULD NOT CAUSE THE LEVEL OF EYE PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE HAD AND IT'S MORE LIKLEY TO BE MS.
HOW ARE YOU GETTING ON?
TAKE CARE AND REGARDS MIMI
Thank you for remembering me. I'm so sorry to hear about your toenails, but the wedding sounds good!
I no longer live in Southern California. I used to live in Riverside from 1959 to 1983. That is north of Escondido.
I am not sure what type of damage my hubby has below the knees - the doctor was talking so fast and had such a full schedule that he could'nt tell me any details. I am going to call his office tomorrow to have his test results mailed to us to review at our leisure. My hubby isn't diabetic so far. He'll be 70 next month. I test his blood sugars periodically and his test readings are remarkable for someone his age! I'm holding up well. My blood sugars seem to be dropping, yesterday I had 3 readings that were 151 and the last one was 160!
You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today.
Took hubby to dr. he gave us test results for 3 tests - nuclear stress test - good, ultra-sound on legs - he has damage below the knees that can't be treated, event monitor - good. His next "hurdle" is picking a good doctor for his neck and wrist surgery this summer! I feel better today as well. Thanks again for your continuing support! Mary Jo
I saw my dr. on Monday, June 7th, she prescribed some potassium supplements for me. She told me that I need reguar blood tests to monitor the potassium in my blood. My husband gets off his event monitor June 15th. On June 30th we see his cardiologist and find out all the test results and the ok for his neck surgery. Thanks for your caring and prayers. Your friend, Mary Jo
How are you? Hope your treatment is going well.
Just thought I'd let you know, I'm due to see a neurologist the week after next who specialises in movement disorders. I'm also seeing a consultant optometrist next week to discuss the problems I've been having with my eyes. Hopefully I'll know what's going on then, fingers crossed.
Take care and hopefully speak soon. x
I am going to see my doctor in 2 weeks and discuss my potassium situation and get her opinion. Our retirement home is now hosting the diabetic support group meetings in Grove - how convenient for me - don't have to drive, just walk a little! I lived in southern California for 30 years. Mary Jo
You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today. I just got my blood pressure tracker chart filled in. I spent the night of May 12 in ER due to low potassium. My blood sugars were high, my blood pressure and pulse were high and I was also a bit dehydrated the doctor said. My husband has had some tests this week and is doing well.
I hope you are feeling better. I wish the weather was a bit cooler and dryer.
I am new to this website. I only use the blood pressure tracker.
I assume from your profile you have cancer and are doing chemotherapy. I wish you all the best with your treatments.
I don't know what your connection to California is, but I am from southern California. Been in OK for 10 years now.
I am lucky to have a doctor who wants to read records. My husband and I use the same doctor and she is interested in his records - he is a AAA survivor and has also had a double by-pass and stent.
I wish you all the best in your recovery and a wonderful Mother's Day.
Just a quick note to say hi!
Hi Martravel, sorry it's taken so long to reply; I've been away for a few days.
Thank you for your email, that was a nice thought.
I am still being tested at the moment, so the jury is out as to whether I have Graves Disease? I'm due to see another neurologist in June for movement disorders, as my GP thinks MS. The trouble is, I have a lot of symptoms that fit a lot of diseases, so I started using different trackers to see if I could make sense of it all!
Do you have Graves, if so, how does it manifest with you?
I had ME many years ago, but my symptoms are very different to when I was really ill back in the 1990's, so 99% certain its not ME causing current batch of symptoms.
