hi lydia, thanks for the support from you, also. i couldn't do this tx if it were not for my friends on this forum. no, i did not take the pictures. they were all taken by professional surf photographers. i do surf videos. and yes, i used to surf but can't because of my anemia. i haven't got the strength to paddle. now i'll have to build those muscles up again. thanks again. take care and i hope to finish soon. 6 weeks to go! belle

Hi Lydia, almost 3 weeks post eot and feeling much better. Skin still a little itchy, but the fatigue is not as noticable. Been cycling much more, lungs and legs slowly returning to normal. Blood work also beginning to return to normal, tsh slightly high, ANC low, but will watch it. Hope your to return to normal happens quickly.

Hey there lady! Right back at you. Thank you so much for your support during my tx, I could not have made it without my friends here at MH. Right now I look like a dandelion head with baby hairs everywhere. This tx I swore I would not cut my hair, you should see it, very wispy long hair and dandelions everywhere :)

Thanks. Yes, 29 weeks done, 19 more darts, and 19 1/2 more weeks of pills. I do my inj. on Mondays. The end is in sight. It must feel wonderful to be done and I am happy for you. This forum has been a great help and support for me and I think for all of us. Here's wishing you SVR!

Wow..that is weird I was just in the middle of sending you a note when I stepped away for a second and came back to finish it and your note was there. Great minds think alike. :) So .. I will start again.. Just wanted to say how pleased I am you are finally done this part of the trip...Long haul for sure doing 48 huh! you have been a real trooper Lydia and also with a good sense of humor.

Sorry I get a little long winded ! LOl Any way, I am thinking maybe my BP has been up all this time and is why I freaked out last night. We will see in the morning if my BP has gone back down. Just took my AD & Anx meds , hopefully that will help also. We Will Succeed in SVR ~ Hang in there girl I am here for ya ! Carrie

You deserve a big bear hug! Thanks "His" for posting. The Riba Rage is better today after a total breakdown last night. I had to apologize to my husband a while ago for my horrible behavior. I know we didnt ask for this dreaded disease, but we have it and we are beating it. We will win ! I have no doubt. I felt the agitation and irritability coming on today and layed down to take a nap. My head was reeling with pain. I finally fell a sleep and when I woke it the headache was gone. I took my blood pressure at rest and it was 197/98 WOW ! So I had to stop and analyze what the heck was going on when I discovered all the crap I had been eating for the last two days was just packed with salt ! So I ended up kind of fasting tonight on jello and yogurt and water.

I'm doing really well, thanks. Sad to have my daugther about to start triple, but so very relieved to hear from the Pharmacy today that our co-pay was going to be $8.00 a month. I was floored!! I thought it was going to be in the 5 figure range. I hope you get to feeling better. I'm interested to hear about the thyroid thing.

You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today. I'm sorry that you are having a difficult time at home. Keep that prize in focus. You are already at Week 19 so you are doing great. I know it's hard but you can hang in there. I was actually glad the entire time that I lived alone. It may take me six months to get my house clean but that's okay.

Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks for your note and thinking of me. I am still doing really good, I'm happy as heck, to say. Week 4 starts tomorrow with my first Dr. visit since I started tx. It sounds like you are doing much better, thankfully!! What, if anything, is annoying the most right now? Are you able to work again as before? I love it...a few years ago, that's when I was so entrenched in tx. Your kind words let me know that I wasn't a total tx-monster, lol! Reading your post about being UND or not, ARG!!! Totally took me back....what a feeling. So glad to know your outcome was positive....YAY UND!!!!! My prob was that, being blinded...I thought sometime between my numerous private PCRs, I had a breakthrough. That phsucked. In the end..it was worth it. SVR!!!! Keep your eyes on the prize...light at the end....and hang in there. You won't regret going through this to achieve that hard won SVR!!!! About to head down that road again with my daughter....remind me of all this again in a few months, lol!!!! Best to you, friend!!! Isobella
