Just wanted you to know that I'm in your camp girl. This site should not all be bambi and flowers here. This cancer is mean and real and we all need to feel free to vent when we want. WE Get it! I've found a blog site that is more accepting called blogforacure. You might want to check it out.
Hugs and peace!

You deserve a big bear hug! I'm sorry that this is going on with your posts and the interpretation of them. I wish I could offer you something greater than this, but know that I get it!

I thought of you today and the lovely notes you sent to me yesterday. I hope you had a nice day. It's hard to have company when your not feeling well isn't it? Lots of people want to come see me and I feel so bad saying no to them, but I just can't do it.

(...continued)... I can understand your frustration about taking pain meds-dambed by fuzziness if you take them or dambed by pain if you don't. It bites that we have to settle for the lesser of two evils. I hope you have a good day tomorrow. Try to do something "just for you". Talk to you later.

Just a quick note to say hi!
I think you are right about the discussion being productive. Sometimes it takes a good fight to get to know eachother better!
Never apologize for being down. This is a safe forum for saying what you feel. The general population and friends just can't relate and thats the beauty of us being able to express ourselves to eachother. I'm a little confused, though. The IV/IP treatments coming up in the fall would be your second-line treatment? As much as we don't want to see any Docs any more than we have to, it's probably a good idea to get the pain checked out. See the next note...Karen

Let's try this again ... I just typed a long note and it didn't get posted. My name is Judy and I grew up in Pittsburgh. I left in 1977 due to my husband's work, but visit about once a year with family all over the place .. mostly in the North Hills area. I was dx at 61 and while I am devastated having OVCA, I really hate to hear about you younger ladies facing this disease. Cancer ***** at any age and believe me, I had many plans for these golden years. I had my first grandchild since I was dx and he is my incentive to keep fighting, much like your dtr. is to you. I just heard about a 19 year old who had her ovaries removed due to OVCA. I hope and pray you have good results with your chemo as many women do .. unfortunately, we don't hear from a lot of them on the forum. Judy

My moms ascites was drained at moffit cancer center 2 days ago they removed 3 liters. There was only 1 spot they were able to go into. All other abdominal areas have too much going on around it. But they did drain 3 liters. I think she feels better. Shes complaining about pain in her legs. Common?

Hi, I just posted an answer to your post about anger management. I know that it is hard but you seem to be determined to beat this thing and that will help you so much in the months and years to come. You are right, it is bogus, but for some reason we were chosen to deal with it. Stay sassy and strong, you will be surprised what it can do.

Hope you feel better soon! I know that this disease *****. I too wish you a long future, with great-great grandchildren to play with. It is unbelievable to think of the young women in their teens that get this stupid **** as well as throughout the rest of the ages.
Feeling the frustration right along with you!!!!

Just a quick note to say hi! I am so happy to hear you are on track and doing well! My number one advice to anyone going through cancer therapy is to do all that you can to build your strength, your health, cause the chemo is only meant to fight cancer growth and it is poison. Our immune systems keep us going and also fight off all the little cancer cells that exist all the time in our bodies, various viruses, etc. Do everything you can, even if it seems extreme to you - eat organic, focus on tons of fruit and veggies daily, avoid processed foods, cook from scratch, don't use artificial sweeteners of any kind, if you can, snack on raw veggies. If you are losing weight, make shakes. If you cannot eat, smoke pot and get hungry!
