I am really hoping that you have no post-TX problems. I felt lucky to survive the chemo (finished TX with 30,000 platelets and am only up to 120,000 now due to interferon suppression) and have immune issues still, almost 11 mos. later. Allergic to most drugs and get infections easily. Everyone is affected differently and I have hope that my immune system will switch back to normal at some point. Don't blame the awful after-effects of TX only on the drugs. Genuinely weird stuff pops in and out for the first 12 weeks or so. If you have problems after hitting the the 12 week post mark, start investigating them with doctors in the proper fields; the study people won't be much help. I hope you have an uneventful recovery and will be thinking of you. Congratulations!
Saw your post about just finishing your 48th shot and boceprevir. I was in Sprint 2 (bocep for naives that started in Nov. 08) and am confused about the timing. My group just finished their followup. How is it that you just finished TX? A different study? Rollover? And by the way, congratulations on reaching the finish line!
So hows things going for you? You should be getting close... Best to you
Got the news, i'm still und at 12 weeks post, hang in there girl you can do it.
Hi there, no news yet but should be any day now. So how are things going for you?
Hi there, was just asking libby if she knew how you were doing. I had to go to 40,000 of procrit every 4 days. My HGB went to 8, now its back up to 9.5 in two weeks. Hopefully they will not dose reduce. Hope all is well with you.
Yes it looks like its time to talk to them about procrit, the study i'm him pays for it and starts it when you drop below 11, wouldn't worry about your wbc its the total ANC they go by. Great to see your platelets where they are. Hope your team is not afraid to push it. Sense you are getting the real thing yo need to keep reminding them as for now these p i's are a one time deal so they need to get it right. Remember they want you to SVR about as much as you do.
Glad to meet you and yes i was und at 2 weeks. Happy you got in the trial with libby she is really nice, i can understand him being upset he didn't get in but as you know theres only so many slots and me and libby are not what you would call easy to tx............ Hope you keep me informed on how your doing, Kwo who is my hepo is also schering-plouhs main go to doctor in boceprevir.........Best of luck
