y problem started about 4 years after my gallbladder surgery end of 1989. I had about 10 ERCPs to dialate my bile ducts so that the bile would flow. I was told in 2001 that I had Papillary Stenosis which meant strictures in the bile ducts. This time however, they could not find any blockage or dilation of the bile ducts, but they also don't know the reason why I am in so much pain. In a hospital in Cottonwood AZ an ERCP was performed and everything was normal according to the gastroenterologist (sp) On Monday Sept 15 an MRI was done and it showed sludge in the common bile duct. Why was not noted during the ERCP. Also, I was told that a balloon was passed through three times to make sure that the flow was right. Please help If you know of anything else that maybe happening an advise is welcome. I am very tire can't eat lost 20 lbs in 1 and 1/2 months I guess it is good, because I need to loose weight, but not too good if I don't know why I am loosing it so fast. I also have chronic Lymes with 2 of it co-infections: Bartonella and Babesiosis. The Lab will be doing the MRI again but this time with contrast because they failed to do what was asked of them. Today at 12:00 PM I'll have the test done. I believe they are ruling out stones in the Liver ducts. Any Help you can give me will be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Elena Starbuck
