I'm new to this site and it is soooo! helpful. I noticed you have central apnea. I believe I experienced this one summer several years before dx. I would be in deep sleep and start waking up because somehow i'd just simply not taken a breath. It happened over about 1.5 month period of time. During this time I also woke up with the whole room spinning kinda as if I were totally drunk and had the spins except I didn't feel drunk, just everything was spinning. I thought - oh, this is getting crazier by the night. I'd better just go back to sleep and it will go away. It did and never happened again. I do have a lateral lesion in the medulla and have problems swallowing off and on. I actually chocked in public and thank god for a quick acting nurse who did the Hemlich which expelled the object.
