My left eye cataract sugery went well on 9/24. My eye sight got 20/20 next day. Just eyelid twitches form time to time. I hope it will go away next few days. How about your second eye? It must be well, no news is good news. Am I right?

Thank you for keeping me updated. Congratulations! Yours left eye is now at 20/20. My surgery schedule is Sep. 24 and going to use T5 to implant as well. Your success boosts my confidence substantially. Post your story in forum is a great idea. Hundreds of people need your successful story to make right decision.

I have not found anything can explain your lettering appeared too thin problem after implant. How about your macular edema? Getting better. May be you can use amsler grid to check your vision bellow is a link to macular related disease http://www.nei.nih.gov/health/maculardegen/armd_facts.asp If everything is normal, I do not know what to suggest. May be just due to new lens and what you look now is slightly difference compared with before. How about your vision better than 20/40 now

My left eye astigmatism is -1.75Dx159 and right eye is -2.75Dx011 (from glasses prescription) I can understand why your eye Md want you to stay with Toric lens. Since it only take several more minutes surgery time and profit is at $500 per lens. I do not mind doctor making money. But he has to get the result he promised to you. As Dr Hagan mentioned in the forum, You need to be satisfied from your first surgery which is get you 20/20 vision before thinking about 2nd surgery. Delaying 2nd operation is right thing to do. If your first implanted eye stays at 20/40 after two month, you still need to wear glasses anyway, why waste money for Toric lens again. Let me know and share your joy when your first eye gets 20/20
