I have hepatitis C. I am not sure how long I've had it, but probably around 30 years. I now have cirrhosis of the liver also.

I see a someone at the hepatitis C Clinic at duke also, but right now only see her about once every six months. I guess that will change when I get on the treatment. It was to far for me to drive all the time. But now ..."

I'm sorry to hear you're having so many sleep issues. That's the only problem with those sleep pills, tranquilizers, etc.... once you get used to them, trying to get off them is like trying to break out of a prison. They tend to change the nervous system so that it doesn't function right without the drug. It took me almost three years to completely eliminate their effects from my body.
If you can, try some light exercise, perhaps a warm bath. I know it's easier said than done, but I can tell you that you WILL FEEL a lot better if you can break their hold on you.
