[More]s… backstabbing, bushwhacking sonuvabitches. We slip up from hiding below the waves and blow ships to pieces in a totally unfair, unsportsmanlike fashion. Any way you cut it, that’s the way we made our living.
We black sheep… we predatory sharks… we saltwater sneaky Petes stick together.
We are a very small group when you consider the total world population and the percentage that never had any desire to crawl into a steel tank and sink out of sight.
Submariners, when all is said and done, are special unique people who are the only ones who truly understand each other and ever will.
I have an odd since of humor, but that goes along with the submarine life. I love the work and the guys I lead, but hate the time spent away from my family and friends.
I have two great boys (10 and 6) that I hardly get to see due to being deployed so much.
I love to run, read and cook. Luckily, I run most of the calories off from my cooking.

ty for the note...I recently went to police station and phoned his sgt tried to turn him in NOBODY cares..police a former military cop told me no warrent for sons arrest have him get on with his life...he can drive w no fear again and has two job interviews tommrow..it will likely catch up w him one day but according to both I spoke w a slap on the hand and a dishonerable discharge thats it..am I pleased w his actions no, but being a mom I must honestly say Im glad he wont be going to Afghanistan and Im so sad for all who do and loose life or limb.
