I just wanted to thank you for your note after I gave in. It really made things seem a little brighter again. My week went okay, and even though the temptation was still there, I was really resolved to not read fanfic. I actually avoided being on the computer whenever the urge was particularly strong. But I also thought of your words and encouragement.
I completely agree that returning to my other hobbies will help. My mother always has told me that you can't just drop a habit - you have to replace it. I really need to get back in the kitchen or go outside or open a normal book again.
But thanks, really. Thanks for going through this with me and for always supporting me when I need it. You give me hope too!
