t tibia, while I was recuperating from this, things began going downhill quite quickly (in my opinion) first swelling of ankles, then nodules similar to RA, began showing up in wrists, then Aug 2007 I had my first seizure, ok ER Docs then dx me w depression b/c EEG came back normal. Sent home, no seizure precautions, no meds, nada.
Saw family Dr and blood tests then only showed an increase in WBC 2x norm and Platelet Count 3x normal, all others appeared normal, or so Dr. said. Next, family decided to travel to FL to visit baby sister Feb 2008, things going good until June 6, 2008 when sometime after 5:30 am as I was getting up from couch had second seizure, lasted 1.5 hours or so I've been told don't remember much except beginning to rise and becoming aware on gurney in ER. Kept in hospital for 5 days and placed on Dilantin for seizures and combivent for respiratory issues, I guess. Most of that time is still a blur.
Current Doctor is actually beginning to research all of my medical history, and has made the decision to send me to a neurologist for follow-up in regards to my neuro symptoms. He said he needs someone who knows the brain better than him to aid in my treatment.

Thank you for your kind note! If I could be quite blundt/blunt??? anyway, I've barely started this trip - May 2009 was the first I had a strong symptom that something was up. That's when I was diagnosed w/ essential tremor. Things went downhill from there. I wish I had a diagnosis now! I hope this turns out to be "something" rather than a collection of a bunch of odds and ends. And I hope it doesn't take 10 years to figure it out.
At any rate, sorry for the bit of a rant - today's been 'one of dem days'. lol I would love to add you as a friend. May I ?
