Callum, here is a discussion board with a couple of postings on intrusive thoughts. I read some of them and they don't exactly match what you describe but perhaps you might wan..."
Hi! What is your gyn going to do about the cyst? Has he scheduled surgery? If it is really large, a gyn/onc should be doing the surgery. That is only a precaution because you would want an oncologist present in case of cancer, but remember, most cysts, small or large, are benign. I had trouble for years, had all the symptoms of OVCA, and finally, this January, I had a total abdominal hysterectomy, they took everything, both ovaries and thankfully, nothing malignant. I had alot of adhesions from previous surgery and they were likely the culprit, did have a cyst but it was benign. So, please make sure your doctor is or has done a transvaginal ultrasound (better pics) and let me know what happens, ok?
I don't know what exactly you are talking about if it is cysts, that would have been quite a long time ago. Feel free to tell me what is going on with you and if I can offer any help or advice, I would be glad to.
