hi there. if she had a lumbar puncture she need to contact the dr who ordered it AND the physician who did the puncture and push them to realize it is the puncture causing the headache... if this is truly the case. Is her headache worse when standing than it is when laying flat? (the easiest way to tell) also, she needs to lay flat- no pillows what so ever. she has a tiny hole that needs to heal and this will alleviate the pressure on it. Also, the only thing that will help this headache is a blood patch and caffeine. a blood patch will help the fastest... best of luck. if you need any help, post on the forum and they will give you support and answer your questions as I am not around here much any more. they will be there for you and your sister.
