Ok, ok. Actually, and this was odd, I had been referred to a neurologist for something they saw on the brain (which was nothing) when they did an MRI. It was that doctor that started asking questions and ordered the blood work. Yes, he ran a lot of tests, including B12, Lyme disease, HIV, etc. Expensive??? Thank goodness we have insurance because I think they were around $1,500!!!!! I see the ENT doc in a little while and will discuss some of this with him. Problem is, if they don't *see* anything they just pretty much send you on your way. Not to mention most appts are about 10 min now.
thanks again. Appreciate someone listening.
Thanks for your note. At least someone else has taken this medication. I take it you've had no side effects - upset stomach, dizzy, etc? My main issues are the chronic dry mouth, throat and feeling of something stuck in my throat, although I have been have some ear pain and feeling of fullness, always on the left side but they don't see anything with the scopes. I see the ENT doc again today (probably the 6th one) and will discuss the EBV issues with him. I am thinking of asking to see an endocronologist and/or infectious disease specialist.
