Hi Bert - sorry for the delay. It's highly unlikely that he passed his HSV-2 on to you. Even if he has Type 2 above the waist, it rarely if ever recurs, and certainly not in the fingers/hands. I doubt you contracted the virus from him!
Your chances are zero. Your exposure was no risk. He has genital hsv2 so you absolutely can not get herpes from kissing or fingerings. Even if he touched himself then you. Not risk. You can stop thinking about herpes from your encounter.
