I had a retina detach last year for no apparent reason. I've had 2 more eye surgeries in the last 3 weeks (Aug 07) 10 days apart. I'm hoping to find people who have had simular surgeries so we can compare progress. I'm worried about future surgeries as I've already bee
[More]n told I will have to have catarac surgery in one year. Other than that I'm healthy and happy.
Just to add to this: I did have catarac surgery and another reattachment at the same time in Dec 2007. I'm still facing yet another reattachment because the Doctor couldn't see way at the bottom of my eye at the time and didn't reattatch all of the areas, and I'm going to have to have the oil removed in my eye... Does it ever end???? No it doesn't I've just been diagnosed with Glaucoma on top of my other eye issues...
"From what I have read the biopsy you are facing is for very tiny almost you can't see type's of areas. There was something mentioned on this sight from back in 2006. Do a search and see if you can find it..So breathe!!! Most Cancer shows..."

I am so sorry about your loss. Do not expect too mush from yourself right now. Do what you need to distract yourself. You have support--that's great!
The loss of most of the sight in my left eye has traumatized me, especially more so since my doctor was "not there." With support, you can have an easier time. I do wish that you will!
