Just eat a small amount (teaspoon or tablespoon). This should work with the carbs that you have just eaten and help keep your sugar count lower.

I have had diabetes for 10 years. I am 61 years of ago. One of the best things you can do in controlling your counts is to eat a small amount of protein (ex: peanut butter, cheese) after you have eaten something with more carbs in it than you should be eating.
