Ya man whenever you need to vent, talk, whatever man mail me and ill even message you my cell number and you can either text me or call. This may seem sometimes like a losing battle and that there is no way you can do it but thats just the drugs going into desperation mode trying to break down your will so you give into the desire. Stay strong man and check your messages im gonna give u my cell number.
Just use some imodium every other day and try to eat whatever u can i found that steak was something i could eat and not make me nauseaus. Fruit helped me too and protien shakes. Your gonna have good days and bad days just try to keep your mind busy just tell yourself using is not a option and nothing can happen that will make u pick up a pill. Getting through withdrawls is the easy part staying clean and dealing with the mental aspect is the true test. But it can be done and were the ones that can do it.
yes you can get through this without medical attention i went to a rehab place but my appt. got pushed back like 2 weeks so when i went to see the dr i was already 11 days clean cold turkey. As for doing it alone its better to have support. After my meetings in rehab or done im going to NA meetings or AA meetings which ever one fits my time frame. I would suggest you go to NA or AA also just talking about what your going through and knowing ppl are going through the same thing will help tons. I went through all the symptons and 30 days clean im still going throught some which is what PAWS is post acute withdrawl symptons. I still have stomach problems like diahrreah or h.e u spell it. The first two weeks will be like you have a bad flu cold sweats, insomnia, emotional mood swings.
Im in the same boat bud. I hurt myself for like 4 months straight got hooked on hydrocodone and stayed on for 2yrs straight everyday. Im about 30 days clean i quit before for 2months but then justified taking some pills because i forgot how hopelessly i was hooked before. But this time its diffrent no matter what pain comes opiates screw off. You look like a big dude so u know the dedication it takes to achieve goals. Put forth that effort in this fight and know it will be a life long battle but one battle worth fighting. Avoid people places situations and things that may trigger u to use. And slow down in life stress can be a main factor and we put our bodies under stress more then the normal person because we push our bodies to eat, sleep, and grow. Keep it stupid simple.
