I have been diagnosed with paroxysmal nonkinesogenic choreoathotosis. Am on several meds, not working well at this time. Am looking for others who have to discuss meds, activities, etc. Have had for 10 years or more. I am a nurse and it is very hard to let others take
[More] care of me during attacks, when my job is taking care of people
Thanks for the message.
As for taking meds, unfortunately I can't take anything on a daily basis, I'm either allergic to it or my stomach doesn't permit it. I've learned self hypnosis which works great on mild to severe pain (only if it comes on gradually) For the excrutiating pain I usually end up in ER.
I'm not familiar with what you have, and am curious as to what it is, and what it's all about.
Again, thanks for the message, and take care
