Hi Lisa, Nice to hear from you. I am so sorry for the nightmare you went through with your mother's illness and afterward.
Have you seen the Hepologist at Sutter Health? I am going to apply for charity care there and would like to see a heptologist someone can give me feedback about.
Some days I am okay, but more often than not I don't feel well. I don't think it is the Riba as much as my liver's difficulty in filtering it. I really need a biopsy to see where I am at.
Don't let my experience scare you-I am cirrhotic, you probably are not-makes all the difference.
I live in North Oakland. I get acupuncture treatments at Berkeley Acupuncture Project. Very inexpensive and good acupuncturists.
Gotta go, I cannot sustain focus for more than a few minutes at a time.
