Hello. Thank you for requesting to be my friend on this site. I have suffered much I am most certainly sure you can understand.
I was originally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1999. It took 10 years to get the correct diagnosis of Chiari.
After my Chiari surgery, I had a full hopes and high anticipations of complete recovery to full health, energy, and vigor of life.
After 3 weeks, I went back to work, proud and grateful to have found what I believed to have been the cure.
But oh the horror in exactly 5 weeks after the surgery and 2 weeks of work, I was back in bed full time and the fibromyalgia symptoms had returned.
My journey through sorting out what is Chiari and what is fibromyalgia is difficult.

hi. thanks for your reply! appreciate it so much! i havent been on here is soooo long, so im just seeing this now! are u from pa? i see alot of neuro and NS listed on my insurance plan site, im tryin to figure out which one is gud to goto, i saw dr bowles, somewhere n wondered ifhe was knownfortaking care of CM patients but i guess i nevr checkd my ins provider list cuz hes not in my plan. pooo!!! i feel like im never gona find proper care n continue to be treated like a clown in a circus that noone understands or believes in. (sigh)
