Just a quick note to say hi! Hi ! I have been on morphin , oxycodon for years . 3 back surgerys . Pain is a good feeding ground for bipolar . I have been to a pain spec. they wanted me to go on Methadon . I'm going to wait till others stop working . I wonder if things can ever be the same . These things have jaded me . if you ever want to vent drop me a line . P.S. patches can leak and cause overdose . Bill

You need to go to a chronic pain dr. There are a lot of alternatives out there. There are a lot of different was to control chronic pain. My husband had nerve damage after spinal fusions left him with severe nerve pain and is now on pain patches that help a lot. You can ask the dr you are seeing now for a referral to a chronic pain dr. If not, go the hospital you have gone to and ask them for a referral and then go. Take your records with you or have your dr fax them over. Believe me, there are a lot of better and more effective meds that can help you without the side effects of what you are doing now. Good luck.
