Great suggestion, I too am on serequil and I am very pleased with the outcome. I also am on a antidepressent too. I have found with all the differnt meds that I have been on that these 2 together work the best.

Hi Jessica, I'm Jennie, by the way. I see that you are dealing with bipolar, and that weight loss is your main struggle. At least that's what I gathered from your page. Anyway, do you think that the meds are causing you to gain weight despite efforts to lose? I had a significant weight gain on Paxil. Prozac seems to help me lose weight. Seroquel, which I tried twice based on a reco from a psych, and it was way too strong for me. I could not function at all during the days. Just a thought. Plus, you look great! I think that once we have children, our bodies are just made to stay at a healthy weight. I think the standards based on celebs, etc. are WAY unreasonable. All have had tummy tuck after c-sections anyway! ;) I got the Wii Fit, and I don't use it, so I don't have much advice really...

He is reluctant to leave, I think, because I have been the primary money source for this family and his lifestyle. He doesn't want to leave the house in Sausalito because he can't afford much more than a little 1 BD in the city for the $90K that he makes. It's just very expensive here! Frustrating. Thank you for all of your advice and support. Again, it has meant so much to me. Are you suffering from depression as well? How is your relationship going? I don't mean to pry, I only ask because growing up in an environment like you said would be very hard to translate into a healthy relationship as a grown woman. My mom hated men, and so did her mom. I think I must feel the same way. I want love so badly, but then I push them away. Do you have this feeling?

Hi. Thank you so much for reaching out to me in this very hard time. It means so much and I look forward to hearing from you. I will not involve this other man at all for a while. He may be the right man, he may not. I honestly don't care right now because I need to be there for my son at this time. My husband refuses to take any ownership of the demise of this relationship. I really believe that we need a trial separation to start. I left a msg for our marriage counselor for a last-ditch effort. I know that every partner has things that annoy us, and the grass usually isn't greener...with another man. I owe it to my son to take a deep breath, try the counseling again, and if it's still unresolvable and I'm living in fear and high anxiety just in his presence, then it's time to move on...

Continued... My son met this other man once when he was 1. He doesn't remember, but he was so loving towards my son and me, wanting to take good care of everyone, but in a healthy way, not overly codependent way. He has been married as well and has a 6-year old son. He lives in Ohio right now, and I live near San Francisco. So, if he can get the funds and career out here, then we could start to date. But the main issue right now is whether or not I leave my husband. I have stayed because I didn't want my son to have a broken home, but now that I know better, I don't want him growing up seeing the anger between his parents. He does absorb it, you are right. He told my husband that "You made Mommy leave" when I had to go out of town for a couple days. I walk on eggshells due to his anger
