My 7 yo ADHD grandson has started peeing on the floor in his room

He says he doesn't know why he does it, any ideas why

I am guessing that either his medication has worn off or he is not on medication....gets focused on what he is doing...and waits until its too late.  It is not unusual.    Reminding him to go at set times will really help.  
    Is he playing on a computer or electronic games just before he pees?  That would be very typical.    Does this tend to happen at any particular time of the day?
