372 Days

I haven't been close to my computer for a few days, and when I signed on today I saw that my tracker said that I have been clean for 372 days.  When I started this journey, I had no faith in myself and thought I would never make it a month, much less a year.  It has been a great year.  For the first time in a really long time, my head is clear and my thoughts actually make sense.  I have enjoyed the time with my family and now I am proud to say that I screwed up in my life, but I am coming back.  If I can do this, anyone can.

This is wonderful.....for the life of me I don't know how you did not know how many days you had clean..............I'm still counting, maybe out of dis belief maybe some fear of forgetting how I got here in the first place.............The world is your canvas now............You can paint you life any way you want. As long as you stay clean. Remember this day, journal how you feel. and in a year from now pull it out and read it. You won't believe the amount of growth you are going to experience...............Remember your recovery has to come first....without it YOU HAVE NOTHING.............and remember from this day forward you deside the way your recovery is gonna look.............and you deside if you are gonna give it up because some person-place-or thing didn't turn out like we wanted it to.
Congraulations.............now go post this in the Addiction site because the New Commer needs to know this thing call recovery is real..........................
