My elderly mother lives with me and I have talked to many others about this.   Sorry they just are not what they used to be. They can lose their common sence very quickly.  She used to be smart as a whip, now the simplest things confuse her.  She can't understand why her blood sugar is so high after eating pie. lol   It really just baffles her.

No way should someone that age take on the most difficult job in the world.

That's the way I'm beginning to see it...he's 72 (73?) yrs old..he's served his country well and deserves a nice comfortable retirement..sit on his ranch in Sedona and watch the sunsets and the beautiful colors of the mountains as they change by the minute, go fishing...by a nice new Porsche 911 and cruise through the desert at 200MPH, play with his grandkids..learn how to use a cell phone..nevermind..that will drive him nuts..enjoy whatever time you have left..you don't need to spend the next 4 years or so with every media nut ripping you to pieces with every word you say or everything you do.."what do you mean you're going on vacation? (as if a President EVER goes on vacation)...

Thank you for your service, Senator McCain...now go enjoy what time you have left...and I'd come help with that cell phone but I can't figure mine out either.

I like McCain....he seems to be a sweet old guy.  But he is known for his quick temper, which is probably getting worse with old age. He needs to go home and live out the few years he has left in peace. His time for such a position has passed.

I watched something on him on CNN last Saturday and heard the same thing from a lot of people close to him that he is a very loose  cannon ..........and, being president will kill him and we will have Palin to take over.

I most likely will not vote for McCain (if I even vote), but I find it had to criticize or comment negatively on this man's service to our country.  He seems to be to be an honorable man who loves his country.
