Just saw a new infomercial last night --  there was Billy, a little pale-looking, mind you, flogging "Concussion Putty" for applying to your head before travelling. You can attach a winch to the putty on your head, and tow vehicles out of ditches ...

Even death can't quiet Billy down.

GOD love him, he was 97 and lived a good life. My heart goes out to the ones he left behind.

I just heard billy was on Tramadol and Vicodin when he died, too.......wtf is going on !!..............I think we are going to go back in time when opiates were for the dying patient........?

There is but one step between us and death, yes its sad when someone passes unexpectedly, and all too soon. But tis true no one gets out of this world alive, so lets live/love everyday as if its the last day we have to be the best person we can be.

AMEN !!  to That........I just sit around and Pi$$ and moan about my whaa whaa life.  My life is good if I really do the checks & balances .........sometimes you really have to dig deep to find it.......and not take it for granted.........for sure !

Yeah, it is sad.......I fell and hit my head with a knot the size of a plum......I went to the hospital and, was being a total @hole from what I hear and wouldn't allow the CAT scan.  I went home and woke up hurling like Linda Blair......I mean the nasty projectile kind you only see in the little ones.........

I'm still here, but I don't suggest anyone take it lightly if you bean your Noggin, as you can see........Oiy!

I also thought of Natasha Richardson,  the same situation with her, a minor head injury or so everyone thought until she went into a coma a few hours later......    I had first read on CNN that Mr. Mays  had died,  and shortly after there was an article about the tire blowing when the  plane he was on  landed in Florida,  followed by an interview with him at the airport by a local TV station where he was saying it was a hard landing, and had been hit on the head from the above compartment,  but he was "hard headed" and all was good.   Unfortunatley according to his wife's statements  he was not feeling well before he went to bed and I am sure they wrote it off to jet lag and a busy schedule, unfortunately he didn't awake from his sleep.

Perhaps it has been my life experiences,  wish to God they had not been,  but the "circle of life" we are taught or choose to believe,  really doesn't exist......  not for celebrities, nor for us common folk.  

Truly  take advantage of everyday,   always remember to say I love you,  and that old saying "live your life as if it were your last" is one I continuously strive to achieve.

I think Natashia was skiing and fell down going down the slopes and then her head hurt and then her hubby suggested she lay down. Bad move. Don't quote me on that, but I do know you should not lay down following a head injury.

So it sounds like Billy's wife did the same thing. "Honey, I bumped my head"..."Okay, well take a nap"..ooopppsss...

I feel so bad for the family and of course for him, dam 50 years old....wow....

Suddenly, I don't trust my hubby..if he tells me to lay down I will start jogging..LOL

That was rude, my heart really does honestly go out to his loved ones. How sad.

i just heard about this too...man, how shocking! I cant believe how many celeberity deaths have happened in the last week! I also heard that walter cronkite is gravely ill..

Yes, I heard he hit his head and we laid down. Meaning that he may have had a concussion. His wife is feeling so guilty and my heart breaks for her.

Remember Natashia Richards? Hope I am saying that right. Anyway, the same thing happened to her. Very sad..really, really sad.

I read he was on a airplane and landed in tampa on Saturday night. It was a rough landing and he hit his head. His wife said he didnt feel well on Saturday night and went to bed early. She tried to wake him Sunday morning and he had already passed. I always heard deaths came in threes so now are we looking for two more? Also he was onlyl 50 too as Michael Jackson was. weird huh?
